2.1 It is imperative that you allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure punctuality, particularly for airport transfers where adherence to flight check-in times is essential. Clapham Minicabs shall not be liable for any delays resulting from inadequate time allocation or unavailability at the agreed-upon pickup time.
2.2 You are responsible for selecting a vehicle size suitable for all passengers and luggage. We do not guarantee accommodation for excessive luggage. Additionally, each child, regardless of age, counts as a single passenger.
2.3 Requests for wheelchair accessibility must be made at the time of booking.
3.1 Our quotation is based on the information provided by you. Prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise specified, with any applicable charges added separately. We reserve the right to adjust the quote in the event of significant itinerary changes.
3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period and airport parking fees after the scheduled landing time. Any additional waiting time will incur charges at our standard rate. While we endeavor to accommodate flight delays, we are not obligated to do so.
3.3 Upon acceptance of our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to verify the accuracy of this confirmation. Failure to notify us of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs for which we shall not be liable.
3.4 Payment for our services can be made via cash, credit card, or debit card.
4.1 You are accountable for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Any damage to or excessive soiling of the vehicle may incur cleaning charges.
4.2 Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited in the vehicle.
4.3 Children must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.
4.4 We are permitted to carry only what is authorized by licensing or insurance regulations.
5.1 If you need to cancel a booking, please inform us at your earliest convenience. Cancellation after dispatch may result in charges based on the distance traveled by the driver.
5.2 Cancellation of bookings made through our online system before dispatch may incur charges.
6.1 While we strive to ensure timely arrival, we shall not be liable for losses due to circumstances beyond our control. We disclaim liability for any losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Luggage is transported at your own risk.
6.3 In the event of a vehicle breakdown, we will endeavor to provide an alternative promptly.
6.4 You agree not to hold us liable for any expenses, damages, costs, or losses arising from actions or omissions of any member of your party.
6.5 Nothing herein shall limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, or fraudulent misrepresentation as prohibited by law.
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if the safety of our vehicle or driver is compromised due to your actions or those of any passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.
8.1 We reserve the right to subcontract our obligations. You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 We may modify these terms and conditions at any time by updating this page. It is your responsibility to review them regularly. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates applicable when booking.
8.3 We handle information following the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Clapham Minicabs and you.
8.5 No third party shall have rights under this agreement unless explicitly stated in writing.
Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days of the booking pickup date. Claims made after this period may not be entertained.
